Claude Debussy, Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum, 1906-1908.

Debussy creates this piece crippling the old, boring étude n.1 from the collection Gradus ad Parnassum by Muzio Clementi. Irony, also evident in the title, with the addiction of word Doctor, is used here to create a work art out of a composition wich has all and only the features of a technical study, usually a nightmare to listen to.
