Organizational paradigm
I would like to create something which can survive in the time and which be able to result as actual even in the future. So I will try to obtain elements or inspiration from the past and the nature. All will must have a good aspect and keep a good shape-harmony (both curve and angular). These are the aims from which I start to design an object.
I' m thinking about
a possible environment of the portable computer
Its main features will
be the lack of big peripherals like monitors or speakers (they will be
just optionals) and little size of the keyboard that will be smaller than
that a portable computer one.
I think that a travel object
like this kind of computer will be pratical in every environment
if it won' t be cumbersome or uneasy to transport.
This work-station
will be constituted of
a main body which, even to have a keyboard as main INPUT peripheral
and a DVD unit as I/O device it will include the data processing unit which
it' s the part of the computer which monitor the hardware operating
of the system.
The computer alimentation
will be on battery but the computer can be connected to the electric net;
four gummy supports will be the base of the main body (support).
It will not needed to
connect speakers or monitors.
An electromagnetic wawes
transmitter/receiver device will be connected by an extendable wire to
the machine main body. It will transmit and receive datas toward and from
the external periphericals.
The OUTPUT video peripherical
will be a pair of glasses which they hide a retina projector.
(this technology already
exist); video datas will be transmitted by electromagnetic wawes that are
received by a receiver (a little aerial...) that it will be put on the
body of the glasses.
Some batteries will warrant
the operating of the electronic devices of the glasses ( and the other
peripherals ).
As regard audio there
will be a pair of earphone which they operate as audio interface.
For warranting the user
's full liberty I thought to use a virtual reality device like a ring or
a glove.
This INPUT device should
replace the mouse which still need a table.
Datas will be transmitted
in electromagnetic wawes by the central receiver/transmitter.
All the main part of
the computer will have a special container and they can be transported
in a little suitcase or in a little bag.The computer can be connected to
other traditional pheripheral like monitor, scanner, printer, external
speaker, joystick, mouse etc.
